Come join one of the oldest radiology groups established in the State of Arkansas. This nine-member group consists of board certified radiologists with subspecialty training in neuroradiology, interventional radiology, nuclear medicine, CT, ultrasound, MRI, mammography, and musculoskeletal imaging. Three acute care hospitals plus an arthritis hospital and two MRI centers are current points of service. The local medical community includes most medical and surgical specialties and subspecialties. Volume is approximately 150,000 cases per year and growing.
The setting for this town is both a national forest and a national park. The town itself has a rich history and has been a top tourist and retirement location for decades. There are unlimited opportunities for outdoor activities including hiking, hunting, fishing and boating. Five recreational lakes are in the area, one of which has been the focus of magazines such as Sailing and Southern Living. Numerous golf courses surround this city, including a course designed by Ben Crenshaw. Tennis and other recreational activities can be found in various health clubs, as well as an affordable Country Club. Downtown activities include Art, Film, and Music festivals. Multiple restaurants of acclaim include cuisine of ethnic diversity. The city enjoys an award winning public school system including magnet schools as well as the Arkansas School for Mathematics and Sciences, pulling students from all around the state. A two-year community college is present within the city. Several four-year colleges/universities are just a short drive away.
